Steve, what a fabulous website. I feel so connected to a larger world as I spend a sleepy Sunday a bit under the weather. After hanging on this site, I feel I've been to so many interesting places.

Mike, thanks for your comments. Your comments are the first as we have just recently gone "live". And no, I can hardly afford to buy a house in Bloomfield Township. Hmmmmm maybe high priced realtors would like to sponsor my site.

My Rand McNally map of South Oakland County tells me that "Birmingham Farms" is located between Maple and 14 Mile; and Telegraph and Franklin. Bingham Farms in an incorporated village that just missed the Higley 1000 (I think Bingham Farms is about number 1,025).

Both Gilbert and Sodon Lakes are actually in Bloomfield Township. One of the things that causes endless confusion is that Zip Code boundaries don't follow governmental boundaries. People begin to think they live in "Bloomfield Hills" because that's what's on all of there mail. But when it comes time to pay one's property taxes, that's when one knows exactly what governmental unit you're in!

Can you find a buyer for my home in Bloomfield Twp.?

Anyway, Bloomfield Twp. is in the 48301 zip code (us). We are to the west of Birmingham. There is no Birmingham Farms; it is Bingham Farms. To the West of Bloomfield Twp. is West Bloomfield. To the South is partly Franklin and partly Bingham.
To our north is Bloomfield Hills. Our mailing address is "Bloomfield Hills", although we pay lower taxes than those who live in the 48302 zip code.

One of my favorite lakes (Wing Lake) is on the western part of Bloomfield Twp.
Glibert Lake is in Bloomfield Hills. I think Sodon Lake is in Bloomfield Hills as well.

Hope this helps...

Any buyers out there in this beautiful Michigan suburb?

Thanks,
